Pastor Thor Sorenson and his wife, Karen, provide the heart and vision for the ministry at Hermantown Community Church. They have a great burden to proclaim the “good news” of Christ to people in this area. Pastor Thor preaches the word of God with down-to-earth clarity, sincerity, and humor. He demonstrates his heart-felt compassion for the salvation of people through his preaching and his own personal witness. Karen brings her talents and leadership to the Women’s Ministry and offers a caring heart for the church. She wonderfully compliments her husband’s desire to see many come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.

Pastor Kyle Chamberlain and his wife, Kari, are working with the youth at Hermantown Community Church. Join us on Wednesday evenings for our Youth Service 6:30pm to 8pm. This is our large weekly gathering. Jr. & Sr. high students from Hermantown, Duluth , Proctor, and the surrounding areas all come together for a lively service geared for them. Our services consist of current music led by our own student worship team, dramas presented by our student drama team, a variety of games and prizes, and a relevant message that confronts the issues students face in their everyday life. We have a full calendar year round. We hope you join us!

Pastor Chris Hedin and his wife, Debbie, are excited to be working with children. Their hearts’ desire is to challenge, motivate, and reach the children for the Lord. They do this through powerful preaching, object lessons, puppets, music, and other tools of ministry to teach the word of God. The ROCK children's church is for those who are in Kindergarten through 5th grade. This is a fun and exciting time for your children to learn what it really means to be a Christian and to follow Jesus every day. We have many activities throughout the year for your children to get involved in!
